In the world of music production, sampling is a technique in which short excerpts or elements of a song are used in a new musical composition. A never-ending source of possibilities, sampling is everywhere, often escaping less attentive ears. In this workshop conducted by David Bruno, topics such as the process of sampling research (digital and analog crate digging), structuring and classification will be addressed, from audio libraries, base assembly and sampling, beatmaking and composition.
