In this short workshop, we will reflect on what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is, its potential, and how to use it in an informed way, avoiding side effects in learning and life.

Carolina Franco and João Gabriel Ribeiro are part of the Shifter platform - a leading media outlet for critical thinking about technology, and the humanistic and in-depth perspectives dissemination on the social transformations brought about by digitalization. Both have been researching and writing about AI for several years - ChatGPT didn't exist yet and there was little enthusiasm for the subject.
