The body awareness of movement, the musical use of modular synthesis, and the artistic essence of shadows are the themes of the BMA lab cycle for the new season of Circuito - Serviço Educativo Braga Media Arts.

Based on experimentation and creation, the BMA lab cycle is dedicated to the main topics of Media Arts, providing a space for thought and reflection on this theme. In this new season, the initiative presents three new courses that explore, in different ways, the concepts of movement, sound, and light.

BMA lab: Dance of Inert Materials - Relations between music, dance and space

As an extension to his show at gnration, Matthias Puech - French composer, researcher, scientist, and teacher - proposes to analyse how musical aesthetics and technical design influence each other in the context of experimental and electroacoustic music.

BMA lab: Considering the Shadow by Leah Singer & Lee Ranaldo
