The Digital Deal Podcast #10: Virtually Real: Writing Transmedia Spaces, with Lara Lesmes, Fredrik Hellberg, Pierre Christophe Gam and Brooklyn J. Pakathi
Entitled ‘Virtually real: Writing transmedia spaces’, the tenth episode of The Digital Deal Podcast brings us a reflection on the physical and digital spaces we inhabit every day.
Moderated and presented by the host Ana-Maria Carabelea, the new episode follows the transdisciplinary perspectives of Lara Lesmes, Fredrik Hellberg, Pierre Christophe Gam, and Brooklyn J. Pakathi.

The way we build the spaces we inhabit - whether physical or digital - extends far beyond the structural issues that serve the purpose of architecture.
Starring Lara Lesmes and Fredrik Hellberg (architects, designers, and directors of Space Popular studio); artist, architect, and researcher Pierre Christophe Gam; and media artist Brooklyn J. Pakathi, the tenth episode of The Digital Deal Podcast invites us to delve into the private, public, real, virtual, and, above all, transmedia spaces that we inhabit every day. Starting from real experiences and the idea that technologies shape our democracies, the four guests join Ana-Maria Carabelea in a conversation about how transmedia spaces make us question definitions and present different ways of inhabiting spaces, interacting with others, and building communities.
Developed by the European Digital Deal project, the podcast is available on the Ars Electronica website and streaming platforms (Apple Podcast, Spotify, etc.).
