In 2024, the Biennial of Art and Technology - INDEX will explore artistic practices and critical thinking from a unique point of view, focusing on the relationship between Art and Technology. The initiave is part of Braga's programme as a UNESCO Creative City for Media Arts and is integrated in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the April Revolution in Portugal.

The new edition focuses on the concept of Coexistence, and aims to establish relationships between technology, democracy and freedom, where technology is the engine for the latter two. As in the last edition, this year's Biennale of Art and Technology is divided into four programmatic axes - Performance, Conferences, Exhibition and Education - bringing concerts, exhibitions, talks and activities for young people to venues such as gnration, Theatro Circo, Mosteiro de Tibães, Museu Nogueira da Silva and Galeria do Paço - Reitoria da UM.

Tickets are already on sale at the online ticket office (BOL) and at the gnration and Theatro Circo counters and at the usual ticket points. INDEX also has a full pass for the performance axis which gives access to all the performances. More information at indexmediaarts.com.
