The Master's Degree in Media Arts was created in 2021/2022 to provide advanced training in art, communication, and digital technology. Developed as part of UNESCO's Creative City action plan, the course is the result of a partnership between the University of Minho and Braga Media Arts, working as a connection element between Braga and the digital arts.

With a close relationship with the cultural spaces of the city, the master's degree is aimed at national and international students from the fields of Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Music, Multimedia, Audiovisual, Design, Communication Sciences, and other related areas.

In addition to a methodological and laboratory-based study programme, the Master's in Media Arts seeks to provide its students with advanced training in media arts, exploring the intersection between art and technology by promoting activities that connect students to city facilities and artists in the field, such as EMMA - Master's in Media Arts exhibition.

The second round of applications is open between July 4 and 15. More information about the course and applications here.
