From music to moving images, Clube de Inverno (Winter Club) is the right space to discover, explore, and improvise in the fields of music and visual art.

Promoted by Circuito - Braga Media Arts Educational Service, Clube de Inverno is a sound and visual project that every year invites different artists to assume the artistic direction, leading two groups - one for the musicians and the other for visual artists - through a series of creative sessions to develop an original show. This year, Larie (a figure who moves between composition, performance, and musical production in an organic fusion of MPB, electronic, and sound experimentation) and Ana Mariz (a multidisciplinary name in cinematography and the visual arts who moves between photography and directing) will be in charge of the artistic direction, leading the participants from 3 to 5 December in moments of creation, rehearsal, and sharing of artistic experiences and knowledge.

After three days of exploration and improvisation, the participants are invited to present the result of their work at the ninth edition of the OCUPA festival (on 6 December), an art exhibition promoted by the AUAUFEIOMAU cooperative with the support of the Municipality of Braga and gnration.

The open call for the eighth edition of Clube de Inverno is aimed at visual artists and musicians of all ages, and to apply must send a portfolio and/or description of the instrument to circuito@bragamediaarts.com by 27 November.
