In its short existence, Semibreve has built a formidable reputation for being one of the most exciting annual events on the international exploratory music and digital arts calendar.

On its way to the 15th edition, the festival is once again promoting the Edigma Semibreve Award, an initiative that promotes the creation of installation works (produced between 2022 and 2025) that explore interactivity, sound and image through the use of digital technologies. The winner of the prize will receive a monetary award of €3,500 - including accommodation during their stay in Braga on the days of the festival - and will have their work exhibited at the new edition of the festival, which takes place in Braga from October 23 to 26.

At the same time, there is also a call for applications for the Edigma Semibreve Scholar, an award focused on creation in an academic context.

The call is open until June 24, 2025. Find out more at www.semibrevefestival.com.
