OPEN CALL: Media Arts Film Scholarship 2023
For the third year in a row, Independent Days | Karlsruhe International Film Festival and Filmboard Karlsruhe, in Germany, are promoting an open call for an independent film project. The selected artist will receive a grant of 3,000 euros.
This open call, intended for all creative professionals in the field of Media Arts and/or Film, aims to support new film projects with limited funding resources. The selected project will be screened at this year's edition of Independent Days, the Karlsruhe International Film Festival. Applications from students are accepted.
The initiative counts on the support of UNESCO's Creative Cities network of Media Arts, where Braga is included. In 2022, the "Media arts film scholarship" was awarded to Dutch artist Anne Fehres with the work "Unfolded". Applications are open until May 31. More information about this open call.
