The development of an artistic programme for the community and city spaces is one of the most important factors in the formation of cultural proposals. With Braga on its way to becoming a national stage for culture in 2025 - designated as the Portuguese Capital of Culture - Braga 25 presents the Open Call "Todo-o-Terreno", an initiative that seeks to promote contemporary artistic programming proposals for the city in the areas of music, visual arts, literature, speech and thought, performing arts, cinema, and moving image.

To support and contribute to the flourishing of a greater number of independent cultural initiatives in the city of Braga, this call supports projects that include proposals to be developed in non-institutional spaces, such as cafés, bars, shops, galleries, ateliers, bookshops, among others, and in spaces that are not of the above types but have the conditions to host events (private gardens, workshops, garages, warehouses, among others).

All people responsible for spaces on the list above, as well as cultural agents, artists, creators, or collectives, born, resident, or working in the municipality of Braga, can apply. Between 7 and 14 projects will be selected and supported with €5,000 (five thousand euros) or €10,000 (ten thousand euros) per proposal.

The Open Call "Todo-o-Terreno" is open until September 12, 2024, with free applications available at Braga25.pt.

On July 15, at 6:30 p.m., Braga 25 holds a free information session at Theatro Circo.
