The Master’s in Media Arts provides advanced training at the intersection of art, communication, and digital technology, promoting the production of knowledge, innovation, and employability in this field of artistic exploration. The program features a curriculum with a strong emphasis on projects and laboratory work, and its practical component benefits from close ties to the activities of Braga Media Arts and gnration.

Set within a particularly emerging field, the academic component of the curriculum benefits from a strong integration of theoretical framework, experimental practice, and critical thinking, enabling constant interaction between theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

This program is primarily intended for bachelor’s degree holders—with or without professional and/or artistic experience—in the fields of Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Music, Multimedia, Audiovisual Arts, Design, and Communication Sciences, as well as in other related fields, who wish to deepen their knowledge.
