OPEN CALL: EFFEA #4

The European Fund for Emerging Artists Festivals - EFFEA Call #4 invites festivals to collaborate across borders and offer emerging artists a platform to establish themselves on the international stage. The open call is open until November 3.

Around 50 residencies involving 50 emerging artists will be selected, hosted by more than 150 festivals in Europe and beyond. To guide applicants, the European Festivals Association (EFA) team is organizing a series of EFFEA sessions: information, Q&A, and networking opportunities designed to help clarify the application process, answer your questions, and establish contact with potential partners.

These meetings will always take place on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. – summer time in Portugal – and will be held online. The schedule and topic for each session will be as follows:

  • 21.10.2025 - Focus: Q&A Sign up
