The POR:TAward: Digital Art Open Call is now open.

The open call is aimed at artists whose work explores digital technologies as an essential part of the artistic process, concept or experience. This year, the award includes a €10,000 prize for the winning work, as well as two Merit Awards of €500 each.

Applications can be submitted until 24 October through the POR:TA Association website, at portaassociation.com/pages/open-call-2026.

POR:TA is a non-profit association and cultural platform dedicated to establishing Portugal as a creative hub of international relevance. Founded by Brooke Waterhouse, Henrique Peysonneau Nunes and José Cabaço, it stems from a shared vision of the transformative role of art in creating meaningful connections between people, communities and cultures.
